American Academy of Fitness Instruction & Training -- AAFIT's programs are six months long and with 500 class hours. It is a Well Rounded Fitness & Personal Trainer Program.
Their program objectives are to teach the student the knowledge and skills necessary to develop a safe, effective and unique strength-conditioning program, benefiting all clients.
The AAFIT student will also be able to consult with the client on proper nutritional programs and guidelines to help assist the client to his or her fitness goals. The student will learn through lecture, in-class discussion, guest speakers, videos and written material. The 500 hours of class time follow these guidelines:
125 Hours of Nutrition
125 Hours of Anatomy & Physiology
50 Hours of Industry Theory and Practice
200 Hours of Practical Experience
